Boca Raton, FL - Fisher-Price and its parent company Mattel settled a 2007 class action lawsuit on Tuesday for 17 million recalled toys - the largest recall of children's toys to date. Attorneys with the Florida-based class action law firm of Balkan & Patterson served on the class action's executive committee and represented a member of the original class of 22 plaintiffs.

04/09/08 - Cleaning Service Performance Less Than Spotless: Delivery Man Knocks Down Elderly Customer
On November 25, 2005, 75-year-old Urban Heppler opened the door to his apartment to receive a load of laundry from Elite Cleaners only to find that the items he had sent to the cleaners were wet on account of rainy weather. Later that day, another employee came by to pick up the clothing, but Heppler asked him to leave without taking the clothes on account of his rude and surly attitude. The defendant, Andrew Spoto, aggressively took the clothes from Heppler and knocked him to the ground of his apartment.
